What's included in the monthly office rental?
The monthly office rental fee includes your office space, heating, lights, a service charge and local rates.
Are all your office facilities the same?
Our office facilities vary by store: for example some locations may have a private toilet, whilst in others it may be shared. Please therefore refer to the individual office location pages or call 0800 731 5364 for more information.
Is the phone system in the office provided?
Our offices are supplied with phone points. We ask that you arrange for their connection with your preferred supplier so that you can set the system up to meet your specific business needs.
Is the office furnished?
So you can set up your office exactly as you want it, all our offices are supplied unfurnished.
Is parking available?
All our stores offer vehicle parking facilities.
Can you sort/accept mail or deliveries on our behalf?
Yes we can. Deliveries will also be securely held for 24 hours free of charge.
What is the minimum occupancy period?
Depending on the nature of the agreement and your requirements, the minimum period will be between 1 and 6 months. Your chosen store will be able to better advise you on this when they know your specific requirements.
What is the maximum period I can occupy an office?
Depending on your requirements and the type of agreement, your maximum occupancy period will generally be from 6 months to 2 years. Your chosen store will be able to better advise you on this when they know your specific requirements.
Is there a break clause in the office agreement?
In a longer term office lease, there will normally be a break clause after 6 months.
Do I pay a set-up fee?
There is a charge to cover the solicitor’s costs in setting up the office rental agreement. Your chosen store will be able to better advise you on this when they know your specific requirements.
Do I need to buy insurance or are we covered through Access?
You will need to arrange your own office contents insurance, and to provide Access with a copy of this.
How much notice do I give if I need to leave?
The amount of notice you are required to give will depend on the nature of your agreement. Your chosen store will be able to better advise you on this when they know your specific requirements.
Do I need to pay a deposit when I rent an office?
Depending on the type of office occupancy agreement you have, you will need to pay either a deposit or a damage retainer, normally equivalent to 1 month’s rent. Your chosen store will be able to better advise you on this when they know your specific requirements.
